Carles Puyol reveals who his second favourite team is.

"The first, no matter what, is Barcelona," he explained at an event in Monaco, before revealing the next side in line.

Former FC Barcelona captain Carles Puyol revealed which team he has always liked following, beyond his identification with Barcelona colours.

Puyol said that AC Milan were his second team. "The first, no matter what, is Barcelona. But in second place would come Milan, it's something that I've always said publicly," explained the ex-defender during his visit to Monaco to participate in the Golden Foot prize.

One of the reasons for Puyol liking Milan is his admiration for Paolo Maldini, one of the Catalan's idols.

The Golden Foot is a prize that recongnises the efforts of players older than 29 years. Puyol is currently working with Ivan de la Pena as a representative for players.
